Video of Street Vendor Making Strawberry-Based Egg Dish Goes Viral, Internet Reacts

Viral Video: The egg is a very versatile ingredient, and people try all creative recipes with it. Recently, a video of a street vendor making a surprising egg dish went viral. The vendor used ingredients like eggs and strawberries and served them inside a capsicum. This unique food combo has left people both amused and shocked.

The viral video shows he heated a generous amount of oil in a pan and frying two whole capsicums until they were red. Next, he fried a mixture of chopped onion, spring onion, strawberry, and egg yolks together until they were well combined. He then added a bit of chaat masala on top of the mixture, along with chopped tomatoes and other spices, stirring well to incorporate. Grating some cheese and adding mayonnaise to the mixture, he smashed all the ingredients together to achieve a gravy-like consistency. He carefully filled the hollow capsicums with the mixture, before cracking open two eggs over each one. In a separate step, he prepared another masala using oil, onions, capsicum, strawberries, egg yolks, spices, and chutneys. He added this masala mixture over the raw egg in the capsicum, before topping the capsicums with a generous amount of mayonnaise and sliced strawberries. Finally, he garnished with coriander leaves, completing the dish.

The video was posted on Instagram by @tasty_street_food and has since crossed 4.1 million views. Many users took to the comments to share their reactions to the unusual dish.
