Day 8 in Paris Olympics: India has a medal event as Manu Bhaker will feature in the Women's 25m Pistol Final. Nishant Dev will be in action in Boxing Quarters.
India's hopes will be at an all-time high today as Manu Bhaker has a chance to do the unthinkable. The Indian shooter, who rose to the limelight after securing two consecutive medals, has a chance to bag another one in her kitty. The shooter will be in action in the Women's 25m Pistol Precision Final. On the other hand, boxing will also remain in the spotlight as Nishant Dev will feature in the quarterfinals of the boxing event. India’s Day 8 in Paris Olympics: Manu Bhaker in the Final, Nishant Dev Aims for the Podium
The fans in India will be glued to their TV sets or smartphones when the country's favourite shooter, Manu Bhaker, will be in action in a medal event for the Women's 25m Pistol Final today. Manu has a chance to make history and secure the medal trifecta, and after two bronze medals, her aim this time will be the ultimate prize: the gold medal. Boxing will also be in action when Nishant Dev will feature in the Men's 71kg Quarterfinal and shoot for glory.
The Qualification rounds for the men's women's Skeet will also take place today as Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, Maheshwari Chauhan and Raiza Dhillon will aim to qualify and put the country on the spot. Round 3 of the Men's Individual Golf will also take place today when Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will face off against some of the world's finest in the game. Sailing and Archery will also feature today, and they will look to better their chances this time.
