One of the most iconic eras and dynasties in NBA history has finally come to an end as Klay Thompson has decided to end his 13 year stint with Golden State Warriors to join Dallas Mavericks in a sign and trade during the Free Agency. 

As Klay Thompson moves on to pair up with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving at Dallas Mavericks, he has broken one of the most iconic partnership in the league with his Golden State Warriors teammate Stephen Curry. 

Klay and Steph became one of the most beloved and iconic duos in NBA history during their 13 years together at Dub Nation. Dubbed as ‘The Splash Bros’, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry formed an iconic partnership that brought Golden State Warriors 4 NBA titles and became one of the biggest dynasties in league's history.  

As the era of Klay Thompson and Steph Curry ends, NBA fans found it hard to deal with the reality of ‘Splash Bros’ breaking up and took to social media to remember the golden era.

Klay Thompson Joins Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic

Klay Thompson has reportedly joined the Dallas Mavericks to play with Luka and Kyrie during the Free Agency of 2024 in a three year $50M deal. 

In his final year at Warriors, Klay was unsettled inside the dressing room and given Dallas were just three games away from winning the NBA Championship he decided to jump ship to try and win his fifth NBA ring.
