Ex-Bigg Boss Contestant Abhinav Shukla Reacts To Armaan-Kritika's Viral Video: They Are On Camera
Abhinav Shukla also participated in Bigg Boss with his wife Rubina Dilaik. The actor has now reacted to the viral video of Armaan Malik from inside the house.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 has been making headlines for the wrong reasons yet again. An intimate video of inmates Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik who are husband and wife made its way to the internet and sparked outrage among netizens and other sections of society. However, the makers of the show have alleged that the video is doctored and have even filed a legal complaint for the same. Now, ex-contestant Abhinav Shukla who also participated in the show with his wife Rubina Dilaik has weighed in on the matter.
They Are Legally Married: Abhinav Shukla on Armaan-Kritika's viral video
Days after the lewd video of Armaan Malik and his wife surfaced online, Abhinav Shukla reacted on the matter. In a new interview, the actor who also participated in the show with his wife in 2020, asserted that even though Armaan and Kritika are legally married, they should be aware that they are under camera surveillance at all times. The actor also asserted that the makers have a control over what to broadcast, stating that they chose to stream the clip.
In a conversation with OTT Play, Abhinav Shukla shared, “Well BB OTT has become a platform for people to showcase their worst talents and not the good ones. Though they are legally married but they (also) know they are on camera. Also, BB has control over what to show and what not to. It is a hand-in-glove situation.” Taking a dig at the other contestants on the show, he added, “My sympathies for people who work hard over years, learn a skill, innovate, and persistently work towards bettering society and then struggle to find a job. And here, we have a vada pav girl (Chandrika Dixit), who got famous for just arguing and yelling. RIP (rest in peace) hard work."
Bigg Boss OTT 3 makers take legal action against fake video
As soon as the video went viral online, Bigg Boss OTT 3 makers - Jio Cinema issued a statement claiming that it was fake. They argued that the video was doctored and the channel would take action against the perpetrators. As per media reports, a legal complaint has been filed.
Sources close to the production have told media organisations that Jio Cinema has filed an official complaint with the Cyber Crime unit. They have filed the case to get hold of the person responsible for the manipulated video. Earlier, Jio Cinema issued an official statement and said, “JioCinema adheres to strict programming standards and guidelines to ensure quality and appropriateness of any content that streams on our platform. Bigg Boss OTT which was streamed on JioCinema did not have any such content. The video clip in circulation is doctored to include obscenity and is fake. We are committed to protecting the integrity of JioCinema and the trust our viewers place in us. The creation and circulation of this fake clip is a matter of very serious concern.”
