Modern Family Fame Sarah Hyland's House Robbed In Broad Daylight, Actress Catches Break-in On Camera

Sarah Hyland, best known for her stint as Hailey Dunphy in Modern Family suffered a personal setback recently. The actress was away from her home when a robbery for attempted at her residence in LA. She reportedly alerted law enforcement, but the thieves were nowhere to be seen when the police arrived.

Sarah Hyland was travelling out of town when two masked men attempted to break into her house, as per a report in TMZ. The Modern Family fame, while absent from the scene herself, was alerted of the security breach after the burglars tried to break a glass window to enter the premises. As per reports, she contacted the law enforcement agencies immediately encouraging them to visit her house. 

However, the police were unable to find any suspects inside or near her residence. Sources in the know suggested that the house had become a ‘ghost town’ by the time the cops arrived. The matter is still under investigation and the police are yet to make any arrests.

The amount of loot from the burglary remains uncertain 

While the police could not make any arrests in the matter, they were also unsure of how much loss the Modern Family star has incurred. As per reports, Sarah will have to make a physical visit to her residence to cross-check her belongings and report her losses. The 33-year-old actress has been living in the LA abode ahead of her wedding with Wells Adams. 

The lavish house located in California reportedly costs a whopping $3.92 Million. Built-in 2018, the property reportedly has five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms spread over 5,872 square feet area. As per Architectural Digest, some amenities in the house include a theatre with stadium seating, a pool with an inset spa, a dining room with a hardwood ceiling and state-of-the-art lighting fixtures.
