CLAT 2025 Registration Begins Today, Here's How To Register for LLB, LLM Entrance Tests
The Consortium of National Law Universities will begin the registrations for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 today, July 15.
New Delhi: The Consortium of National Law Universities will begin the registrations for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 today, July 15. Candidates will be able to register online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The link will be activated at 12 noon. The last date to register is October 15. The CLAT 2025 is scheduled to be held on December 1, 2024 in pen and paper mode from 2 pm to 4 pm.
How to register for CLAT 2025
- Visit the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Click on ‘CLAT 2025’ tab
- Register yourself by providing your name and mobile number
- Log in using your credentials
- Fill out the application form
- Upload the required documents and image
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Candidates belonging to general and other backward classes are required to pay an application fee of Rs 4,000. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and below poverty line (BPL) categories need to pay Rs 3,500.
CLAT 2025: Eligibility criteria
For CLAT UG, Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 45% marks for general category and 40% for those belonging to reserved category.
For CLAT PG, candidates must have a LLB degree with a minimum of 50% marks for general, OBC, PWD, NRI, PIO, OCI categories. For SC, ST categories candidates, a minimum of 45% marks is required.
CLAT 2025
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 24 National Law Universities in India. CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities, comprising representative universities.
Several affiliate universities and organisations also use the CLAT exam for admissions and recruitment respectively. All admissions to the 5-year integrated LL.B. and LL.M. programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2024-2025 shall be through the CLAT 2025
